Today the "Surround Me With Love" twirl skirt was released. Personally, I was happier for the testers of this pattern, to finally be able to share their creations. The group of testers, whom tested, all produced such beautiful pieces, it just made my heart smile. We all worked through a lot together.  After all, every size of this pattern was hand drawn by me and digitized by a good friend. Another friend was busy editing the tutorial, and another was leading the group of testers. Overall it just was an awesome experience. The women were very honest and great feedback so that I could tweak the pattern to what it is now. Letting them know today that the pattern was published just felt so good.  They were all so very proud of what they created. I can't take any of their credit for what they designed. All I did was show them how I personally created it, so they could create one or more like the one I designed. I love being able to help people. What makes me the most happiest, is making other people proud about what they accomplished. After all, it is not what we do, it is about what we can give and offer others.

Today was a great day. Even though I lost my dad 4 years ago today, truth is, he is still within me.  He raised me to be the person I am today. His values in life were taught to me in many ways. Sometimes we take our families for granted. Sometimes we don't realize how much they have given us in life till they are gone.  But for me, I chose to honor my dad every February and do something in his honor.  He deserves that!!

Be proud of who you are. Be proud for the journeys in life you have walked down. Just never give up, keep believing in who you are. For we all matter to someone in this world.

I sure hope this skirt pattern I designed creates numerous happy faces around the world. Each child sure is a blessing.
